This advertising campaign for The North Face highlights the versatility and multi-purpose nature of their products. While many use their high-quality jackets and boots for extreme activities like hiking in harsh conditions or climbing in freezing temperatures, others rely on their backpacks and lighter jackets for everyday use, such as school or work.
The campaign plays on the words 'anywear' and 'everywear,' suggesting that the gear is suitable for any environment, anywhere, and everywhere. This theme is reflected across various platforms, with tailored variations of the phrase featured in deliverables such as a billboard, an airport kiosk, and an Instagram post.
The billboard prominently displays the phrase 'for everywear,' set against a background that contrasts the icy mountains with an urban cityscape. The individual is strategically positioned at the center, symbolizing their ability to navigate both worlds seamlessly, outfitted in North Face gear.
Each of the deliverables were crafted with a unifying color scheme, as seen in this example with the yellow beanie matching the golden hues of the city and of the forest.
Helvetica was used for the headline font in order to align with The North Face's brand standards. The brand is very modern, adventurous, and bold, and therefore the advertisements were designed in order to embody the brand standards.
