Using only six words, the task of this assignment was to tell a personal narrative and represent it through the typography of the design. The narrative I chose to represent was my love for books and fantasy, and visualizing the meaning of the word "escapism". The drop caps on the “W” make it prominent within the hierarchy of the design, and mimics a fantasy storybook. The glowing word “home” leads off the page and is laid over a faint fantasy design that recedes in the background, representing the act of escaping to a fantasy world.
